Funny Little Girls!!!

I have to say that we have some funny little girls!! Children in general do and say the funniest things!! I swear we get a kick out of them everyday!!! The first picture below was taken in our closet!! We walked in and there was Sammi reading to her baby!! She was reading my What To Expect When Your Expecting Book! Nice I know but it was so funny she was pretending to really read it! It was soo cute!!! The next picture is of our little Sariah; I was in the kitchen making lunch and she started yelling "stuck, stuck!" So I went to see what she was into and there she was! The picture is self explanatory and I started cracking up!!! Tonight at dinner Sammi was bouncing around her chair and would not sit still so I said to her "What is wrong do you have ants in your pants, and they are making you do the boogie dance?" She about came off of her chair and looked down at her underwear and said to me "mommy I don't have ants in my underpants!" Then there is Sariah who loves to sing the song Aunt Sunni taught her -Bob bob aran!! We just love them and there little personalities!!!

Our Weekend Trip To Bakersfield!!

A couple of weekends ago we headed down to Bakersfield!! The whole family was there and everyone knows how its rare except for holidays for everyone to be there! Mikey's finance Larissa was there so we were super excited to meet her and to get to know her!! What a sweet girl she is!! We had a wonderful time with everyone and the girls loved playing with there cousins!! We went the the Neville annual party where there was some yummy food, and animals for the kids to look at, along with great company!!! We had a blast!! The girls had a lot of fun too!! Daddy Daughter Camp Out!!

It was time for the father and sons camp out for my ward and because I have only spoiled princesses I took Sammi on our first camp out. She was very excited and was asking many funny questions the whole way to the Hidden Valley Ranch. When we arrived Sammi was excited to see some of the boys from our ward and immediately took off playing and running around why I got set up. Everyone got a kick out of the nonstop action Sammi displays where ever she goes. The night began to fall and the frogs came out. That was when the fun began for me. As soon has Sammi saw the first frog she fell in love and wanted to hold every frog in a 10 mile radius even after the first toad went pee all over her hand. I chased her while she chased the froggy's tell about 11:30 p.m. Then I was to tired to keep up so I took Sammi to the tent for bed, She was not ready! She fought with me for at least a hour before she finally gave up after a call to Shanti to calm her down. The Movie playing on the big screen tell 12:30 didn't help either. We slept good tell about 6 a.m. that's when I heard the small voice say" I hear birdies." And then the hunt was on for more froggy's! Luckily they were all asleep. The bishop woke up to her running around his tent and asked me "How can the smallest girl be the last one to sleep and the first one awake?" I said"welcome to my life!" But we had a blast! Sammi And Her Big Girl Bed!!

Well Sammi finally did it!!! She officially started climbing out of her crib!! With all the climbing she does I was actually REALLY surprised that she didn't do it earlier!! She actually climbed out of it while on I was on bed rest but she hurt her self one time when she did it, so she hadn't done it since then; Until about two weeks ago!! Spencer and I were sleeping and all of a sudden I saw the light flick on in the kitchen and I woke up Spencer and said "Someone is in the kitchen!" He got up, along with the baseball bat and peaked around the corner and there was Sammi with Caster trying to get in the garage. He asked her what she was doing and she said Caster was hungry!! We couldn't help but laugh!! Well she kept crawling out of her crib ALL night that night!! So the next day we converted her bed into a toddler bed! Sammi was so excited to sleep in her big girl bed!! She has been doing very well considering some of the stories I have heard!! I have to tell her to get back in bed for about 30-45min after we put her to bed, but once she falls asleep she stays in her bed. She has fallen out quite a bit and she gets real upset when that happens:( We were planning on putting her in a big bed before the baby gets here so it actually worked out perfect!! When I go in her room before we go to bed to tuck her in I cant help but to get all giddy at how cute she looks sleeping in her big girl bed!! We love you Sammi Ann!!!

Sammi's First Little Pre-School Class!!

On May 26 Sammi had her first day of a rec-center class!! I had prepared her for it and told her that she would be going to school!! She was SOO excited!! The first class I had her in was for 2-3 year olds but I was told that the parents were not supposed to stay in the room because they wanted it to be a class room setting. Well when we went it was def. not like that! Most of the parents stayed in the room and Sammi was bored! After the class was over I asked if it was normal for the parents to stay in the classroom the whole time and she said yes because there were two year olds in there, and she then said that Sammi would be better in the older class even though she wasnt quite 3 yet, she instructed me on how to go about moving her classes and we got clearence to have her in the older class!! The new class she is in is much better and is more like a pre-school class! And it is much closer to our house, which I LOVE!! The best part of these little classes is that they change every month as far as what they are learning, and they are much cheaper ($23.00 a month to be exact!)!!! They are doing and learning all the same stuff that they would in a pre-school class that costs much more!! Here are some pictures of her first day!! Memorial Weekend In Pine Valley!!

We had a wonderful Memorial weekend up in Pine Valley!!! Spencer had Monday off so we took full advantage of it and headed up the mountain!! We actually were sitting in sacrament meeting when Spencer looked over at me and said "Lets go see Grandma and Grandpa in Pine Valley!" So after church we came home a threw some clothes in a bag and headed up!! We had such a wonderful time!!! It was soo good to see Grandma and Grandpa, its nice that they are so close that we can just head up there like that!! The girls had a BLAST!!! Sammi was on the hunt for caterpillars and whatever other bugs she could find!! Sammi and Sariah both loved playing in the playhouse! It was soo much cooler then Vegas too!!! Megan and her boyfriend and some friends were up there so we got to hand out with them too! We barbecued for dinner on Sunday and on Monday we took the girls for a Rhino ride while Grandma and Grandpa took a nap! The girls ended up falling asleep on the ride so when we got back we tried putting them down but it just wasn't happening!! So we took off down the mountain and started to head home!! Well we only made it to the check station and there were police men that were flagging everyone to slow down, next thing we knew we were stopped which turned into FOREVER!!!! So Spencer called to see if Nick was back from there trip and we were soo lucky he had just walked in the door so we asked if it was ok if we hung out for a little while until the traffic cleared up, he said yes and we turned around. Nick treated us to some yummy Cafe Rio (thanks Nick!!) and we hung out for a couple of hours!! I then called and found out the 15 was open again so we headed home!! So that was our wonderful Memorial Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa! Thank you both for having us!! We love you guys!!! Spencer and Grandpa!!

Our Little Climber!!

So our little Sariah has discovered how to climb!! For weeks it seemed like I was constantly getting her off of things!! These are just some of the pictures!! I know she learned it from her sister climbing up on things and exploring!! Sariah is always right behind her ready to get in on the action!! One day I had left to run and errand and Spencer was watching some TV and the girls were playing in Sammi's room, well he thought!! He went to go check on them because they were soo quiet and he found them in our bathroom, Sammi was on our counter and Sariah was standing on the toilet!!! He took a picture of them but its on his phone!! Today Sammi was in time out and she was crying, well after time out was over Sariah went over and climbed up on the chair and stood there copying Sammi, fake cry and all!! What a funny little girl she is!!! Here are some pictures of her in action!!

Happy Mothers Day!!

We hope all the moms out there had a wonderful Mothers Day!!! Especially our Mothers!!! What wonderful women they are!! They inspire me to be the best mom I can be!! We are so thankful for them and how they raised us!! I call them both all the time for advice!!! I don't know what we would do without them and we are soo grateful for them!! Happy Mothers Day to the best moms in the world!!! Also we hope all of our sisters had a wonderful Mothers Day too!! What wonderful mom's all of you are!! I love that all of them are phone calls away and we can share funny stories about our children, to vent and get advice from eachother!!! I wished we all lived closer!!! I too had a wonderful Mothers day!! Spencer bought me these beautiful flowers for my patio!! I LOVE them!! The girls love going out in the mornings and watering them!! We have had to water them twice a day because it gets so hot here!! I almost lost my roses but they are coming back! Yeah!!! Spencer also made me the BEST breakfast in bed too!! He made me pancakes, eggs, bacon and toast with jam!! He is so cute!!! I am getting hungry thinking about it!! I love you babe thank you for a wonderful Mothers Day!! Sariah's 18 month Check Up!

On May 5th we had Sariah's 18month check up!! I cant believe how fast time goes by!! Sariah is getting so big and is talking up a storm!! She says tons of words and loves playing with her sister!!! She loves playing with her babies and loves climbing!!! We thought Sariah was going to be the quiet /calmer one but I believe we were wrong! She has the cutest little personality but def. not on the quiet side!! I love when she runs, she has this little waddle and it is soo cute!!! One thing she does not like is when I do her hair!!! Her little appetite has gone down a little since her check up but she is still far from a picky eater!! She had lost a pound at this check up and is getting taller!! She def. will tower over her sister I just know it!!! She loves our dog Caster and mimics me when I whistle at him, it sounds so funny!! She has learned to fold her arms to pray and when you ask her to pray she really trys, you cant quite understand her but you can understand the amen part!! Well here are her stats!! She weighed 31 lb.s and 12oz which puts her in the 95%, She is 32 1/4in. tall which puts her in the 50-75% and her head circumference is 18.75 in which puts her in the 75%. We love you Sariah Jo!!!

Happy Birthday Spencer!!

Spencer's Birthday was on April 30th!! I was so excited to to cook his favorite meal for him-hamburger pie and I was going to try to bake!! I felt like I cooked all day!! Spencer loves banana cream pie so I thought I would try to make a banana nut bread cake and put yummy frosting on it!! Ok lets just say I am NOT a baker!!! I cooked that dumb cake for hours no exaggeration there!! So when he got home from work we ate dinner which I felt so bad it didn't turn out real great! Spencer then opened his gifts which we have discovered I cant hide ANYTHING!! And then we attempted to eat the cake I baked for him! Oh poor Spencer! He actually was brave enough to try it!! I didn't dare!! So we packed the girls up in the car and went to Nielson's Frozen Custard!! He at least had a yummy dessert!! Next years Birthday will be better Spencer I promise!! You will have a Banana Cream Pie which I will not make!!;) and I will be sneakier at hiding your gifts!! We love you soo much and hope you had a very Happy Birthday!! Easter!!

We had a wonderful Easter this year!! First I want to say we are so thankful for our lord and savior Jesus Christ!!! My mom had left the Thursday night before and Abby had come back that Saturday; I was still on bed rest! We had a yummy turkey dinner that Mom had made!! I had done a little easter basket shopping but had not bought any candy yet, so my mom and Spencer went to the store to get the girls some before she left, my sweet mom came back with way more than just candy!! Spencer had said he put some candy in the basket and my mom started putting more stuff in, they came home with a big bucket of playdoe, cute little easter plates and my mom had given the girls some videos that we put in there baskets! Oh and my mom bought the girls the stuff to dye easter eggs! When Abby got here she had made the girls the cute little dresses you see below with the little doll and purses!! Soo cute! My dad and his wife also sent the girls cute little books with a little bunny! So needless to say everything would not fit in there baskets as you can see below! The girls were really excited to see all that the Easter Bunny had brought them!!! They were really cute!!! I almost forgot Mom helped the girls dye easter eggs on Easter! Sammi loved it!!! I dont have those pictures they are on mom's camara so I will have to get them from her. Well we hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!!
